Adobe has a nice service where if you send them an email with a PDF as a MIME attachment, they will send you back the file in HTML or TXT depending on which email address you sent it too.
If you want the answer in HTML, mail to: pdf2html@adobe.com
If you want the answer in TXT, mail to: pdf2txt@adobe.com
The results are not perfect (the graphics are stripped out, the layout is sometimes jumbled) but it can be a useful service if you need alot of text from a PDF file and don't have (or don't want) the Adobe Reader installed.
You can also submit document by supplying the URL to a form on Adobe's site here.
